A New Neighborhood in Old Davidson

A New Neighborhood in Old Davidson

Also called the St. Alban’s Neighborhood, this charming neighborhood of homes surrounding St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, features sidewalks, parks and playgrounds, walking trails, and an easy walk to town and Davidson College.  This established planned community is perfect for all types of people, and features craftsman, transitional and Charleston-style homes.  This very active neighborhood offers opportunities to socialize with friends and neighbors, drawing folks to OktoberFest, a winter holiday decorations contest, a neighborhood dinner group, a book club, the women’s bridge club, and the men’s breakfasts, to name a few of the favorites.

Named the Association of the Year in the category of “mixed use” by the North Carolina Chapter of the Community Association Institute in 2001, the New Neighborhood (although it's now a well-established part of the Davidson community) continues to be a very desirable place to live.  It’s just off Davidson-Concord Road, making it close to Lake Norman, and the nearby towns of Huntersville and Cornelius, offering easy access to I-77.
