Built on a peninsula in a high-end community which is home to Trump National Golf Club is where you'll find this beautiful estate. Here are some things the current owners particularly loved about the home  -

🔸The in-law suite with private entrance
🔸The reputation of the builder, Jay Young, and his crew - Dale, Larry, Mike and Amy
🔸The beach
🔸The boardwalk around the cove and to the pier
🔸The quiet cove (we had a trampoline out there when the boys were young)
🔸The quiet cul-de-sac
🔸The big front yard and big backyard (boys had many baseball and football games in these yards)
🔸The heated master bedroom floor
🔸The kitchen and the screened porch
🔸The Icynene insulation promising lower energy bills (our bills are lower than all of our neighbors!)
🔸The proximity to Woodland Heights Elementary School
🔸 Golf course in the front yard and lake in the back

Trump National Golf Club

by Mayes Harris Team

For those of you following my blog’s coverage of Donald Trump buying the golf club at The Point in Mooresville, I thought I’d bring you closure.  Yes, it’s official.  The members of The Point’s Lake and Golf Club have voted to sell their club to Donald Trump.  The sale is due to close at the end of April.

Take a look at this piece from the Charlotte Observer: http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2012/03/30/3137638/donald-trump-purchases-point.html

I wonder what this means for The Point?  Will more people start to move here because of the publicity?  Will Donald Trump and other celebrities play the course?  Will more residents want to join the new Trump National Golf Club, since Trump has promised improvements to the course, tennis courts and more?

Charlotte is still a growing area, and The Point in Mooresville certainly is a desirable place to live.  I currently have a listing at The Point, so feel free to contact me with any questions about the area.

Vote for your town…

by Mayes Harris Team

I recently learned of a website that is looking for the best small towns in America.  Rand McNally, the road atlas folks, and USA Today, are hoping Americans will vote for their favorite towns at http://www.bestoftheroad.com/.  I plan to vote for Davidson because of its small-town charm, history and amazing community, offering so much to do for families.  You might want to vote for Cornelius, Mooresville, Huntersville or Denver for their proximity to Lake Norman and other wonderful qualities. Or maybe you’re reading this blog from outside the Charlotte metro area, and will vote for your town somewhere else in the US. Is your town the most beautiful, the most patriotic, friendliest, most fun or the best for food? Wherever you are, have fun supporting your favorite town!
