Davidson, N.C. is located 20 minutes north of Uptown Charlotte, bound by beautiful Lake Norman to the West, Mooresville to the North, Cornelius to the South. Davidson offers a quaint small town feeling for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of urban Listen closely and you might even hear the Wildcats roar on a Saturday autumn afternoon. This small town is home to the historic Davidson College. Davidson College was founded in 1837 by the Presbyterians and has grown to one of the country's prestigous four year liberal arts colleges. Walking around the historic campus, you quickly notice how the beautiful old trees and buildings rising in brick splendor merges both college and village into one.
Davidson hosts many festivals and cultural events during the year offering everyone something to enjoy. From spring festivals to summer movies in the park to "Christmas in Davidson" the town offers it's residents plenty to do. Though a small town, Davidson impress with it's magnificent woodlands and greenery with stric conversation rules for maintaining open natural spaces and parks.
